Back With A Bang
Rajnikanth was reportedly paid Rs 300 million for his latest blockbuster Sivaji. The film took 19 months to complete and is said to be the most expensive movie ever produced in India. Huge banners and hoardings were erected in front of cinema halls where Sivaji was released. Fans performed ablutions by milk on Rajni’s cutouts and broke coconuts to ward off evil forces.

We can be sure that the greatest hope for maintaining equilibrium in the face of any situation rests within ourselves.
FRANCIS J. BRACELAND
Like anyone else, there are days I feel beautiful and days I don’t, and when I don’t, I do something about it.
CHERYL TIEGS
Human beings, by changing the inner attitudes of their minds, can change the outer aspects of their lives.

Only passions, great passions, can elevate the soul to great things.

I am determined to be cheerful and happy, in whatever situation I may be; I have learned that the greater part of our happiness or misery depends upon our dispositions, and not upon our circumstances.

Avram Noam Chomsky (born December 7, 1928) is an American linguist, philosopher, political activist, author, and lecturer. He is an Institute Professor and professor emeritus of linguistics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Chomsky is credited with the creation of the theory of generative grammar, considered to be one of the most significant contributions to the field of linguistics made in the 20th century. He also helped spark the cognitive revolution in psychology through his review of B. F. Skinner’s Verbal Behavior, in which he challenged the behaviorist approach to the study of behavior and language dominant in the 1950s. His naturalistic approach to the study of language has also affected the philosophy of language and mind. He is also credited with the establishment of the Chomsky hierarchy, a classification of formal languages in terms of their generative power.
According to the Arts and Humanities Citation Index in 1992, Chomsky was cited as a source more often than any other living scholar during the 1980–1992 time period, and was the eighth-most cited scholar in any time period.[2][3][4]
Beginning with his critique of the Vietnam War in the 1960s, Chomsky has become more widely known—especially internationally—for his media criticism and politics. He is generally considered to be a key intellectual figure within the left wing of United States politics. Chomsky is widely known for his political activism, and for his criticism of the foreign policy of the United States and other governments.

Soon, she was also discovering her curiosity of food very different from the one in Tamil Nadu or what she had eaten in America. Though she had been introduced to American regional food, including Cajun and Mexican cuisines in New York, it was in Morocco and Spain that she began a serious culinary journey.
She was shooting for the Italian Elle in Morocco, her first big editorial shoot, when she learned about Harissa, the fiery chili sauce, and mild couscous dishes. While shooting French lingerie in Bali, she learned how to make a low-calorie fish dish.
She wonders if she would have become a foodie and a food writer if her fashion career had not made her a globetrotter. Even her acting career took off because of her modelling. While living in Milan, the fashion capital of the world, she starred in several Italian films and television series.
“The best part of modelling was travelling and increasing my knowledge of world cultures,” she says.
